Booking conditions and procedures apply to all guests intending to travel with SafariWise.
Bookings of tours/safaris are made through the offices of SafariWise only. Upon confirmation, a non-refundable deposit of 30% is required and the booking becomes binding and the terms and conditions, as contained herein, become enforceable.
If it becomes necessary to cancel your holiday, you must notify SafariWise immediately in writing. Cancellation will take effect upon receipt and acknowledgement of your cancellation. Cancellations fees apply as follows:
100% Cancellation fee due for cancellation 44 days or less prior to arrival
50% Cancellation fee due for cancellation 45 – 90 days prior to arrival
20% Cancellation fee due for cancellation more than 90 days prior to arrival
Final payment is due 60 days prior to tour/safari start date or as indicated in the final agreed-upon itinerary. A 10% fee will be charged for all late payments.
All tours/safaris are based on a minimum number of participants as indicated in the itinerary.
Neither SafariWise, nor any person acting for, through or on behalf of, shall be liable for any loss or damage whatsoever and without restricting the generality of the foregoing shall particularly not be responsible for loss or damage arising from any errors or omissions contained in its brochure or other literature, late or non-confirmation or acceptance of reservation, loss or damage caused by delays, accidents sickness, injury or death, whether occasioned by negligence or not with the exception of gross negligence on the part of SafariWise or its duly authorized employees
Accommodation is as specified in the itinerary or brochure. The use of specific accommodation is subject to availability. SafariWise reserves the right to make use of alternate accommodation.
Vehicles provided are large enough to accommodate the number of passengers and luggage. All drivers are licensed in terms of the specific country’s legislation. All vehicles comply with relevant safety regulations. SafariWise reserves the right to utilize different sizes or types of vehicles to those indicated depending on demand and availability.
SafariWise shall not be responsible for the consequences of any delays whether arising from flights, accidents, breakdowns or any other cause.
The law of Namibia shall govern the relationship between SafariWise and its clients. The parties consent to the jurisdiction of the Magistrate’s Court in respect of any dispute, action or proceedings, which may arise between SafariWise and the client.
